Discovering that your child has been targeted by an online predator, sextortion, or digital harassment is a paralyzing experience, but you don't have to navigate the aftermath alone. Our crisis experts provide immediate, compassionate guidance to help you regain control, from the technical essentials of locking down devices and preserving digital evidence to the critical steps of reporting violations to the proper authorities. Beyond the immediate intervention, we connect your family with specialized recovery resources and proactive prevention strategies, ensuring that a moment of vulnerability becomes a turning point for your child’s safety and long-term digital resilience.
ScreenSafe Inc. came into being after experiencing firsthand how quickly digital devices and online platforms can expose even the most carefully raised children to inappropriate content, predatory behavior, and addictive design patterns. Like many parents, we felt overwhelmed by constantly changing apps, hidden algorithms, and the sheer volume of new risks appearing every month. We realized that individual families – no matter how vigilant – cannot keep up alone, and that most existing parenting resources were either too technical, too alarmist, or too fragmented to be truly helpful.
ScreenSafe Inc. is built on three core beliefs:
We’re here to walk alongside you with honest answers, step-by-step help, and a judgment-free community of parents who understand exactly what you’re going through. Welcome to the ScreenSafe family.

Erik is an advocate for child online safety whose work is grounded in a rare combination of frontline investigative experience, intelligence operations, advanced academic training, and personal commitment as a father. With a career dedicated to protecting vulnerable populations from digital threats, he has become a trusted voice for families, schools, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations seeking practical, evidence-based strategies to safeguard children in today’s increasingly connected world.
Erik’s professional background was forged in some of the most demanding environments in public service. As a member of the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, he specialized in investigating child exploitation offenses involving smartphones, social media platforms, online gaming environments, encrypted communications, and emerging digital technologies. His work required advanced expertise in behavioral analysis, digital evidence, tactical investigations, and threat identification—skills that now inform his preventative approach to online safety education and risk mitigation.

Prior to his work in law enforcement, Erik served as a U.S. Army intelligence soldier with combat deployments to Afghanistan. It was here he developed a deep understanding of intelligence gathering, surveillance operations, risk assessment, and strategic threat analysis in high-pressure environments. His combined military and investigative experience provides him with a uniquely sophisticated perspective on the evolving digital landscape, enabling him to identify vulnerabilities and patterns of online exploitation that are often overlooked by traditional safety programs.
In addition to his operational experience, Erik is a certified law enforcement instructor and an accomplished academic professional committed to advancing research in human behavior, digital influence, and psychological resilience. He earned his Master’s degree from Purdue University and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Psychology at Grand Canyon University, where his studies further strengthen his ability to understand the behavioral dynamics that impact children, adolescents, families, and online communities.

Recognizing the urgent need for proactive education and prevention, Erik founded SafeScreen Inc. with a mission to help families, schools, and organizations move beyond reactive responses to digital harm. Through expert training, community outreach, and evidence-informed safety strategies, he equips parents, educators, and youth-serving institutions with the tools necessary to recognize threats early, foster healthy digital habits, and create safer online environments for children.
Today, Erik is widely respected for his ability to translate complex cyber and behavioral threats into clear, actionable guidance that communities can trust. His work continues to empower schools, parents, and organizations across the country to take a proactive role in protecting children from online exploitation, manipulation, and digital risk before harm occurs.
