Role Overview

SafeScreen Inc. is seeking highly specialized experts to join our Speaker Eligibility List. As a Contract Guest Speaker, you will be the frontline voice of our mission, delivering impactful, on-site presentations across Wisconsin. You will educate and empower families, educators, and communities by translating deep technical and investigative knowledge into actionable digital safety strategies.


This is a contract-based role. Candidates who meet the criteria will be placed on our preferred speaker list and contacted for engagements as bookings arise.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Impactful Presentations: Facilitate high-energy, interactive sessions on digital safety, online well-being, and emerging cyber threats.
  • Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all presentation materials align with SafeScreen Inc.’s mission and vision while remaining current with digital trends.
  • Engagement Planning: Collaborate with the SafeScreen team to organize logistics and tailor content to the specific demographics of the host community.
  • Public Advocacy: Act as a passionate representative of SafeScreen’s values, fostering a supportive environment for families navigating online challenges.


Required Qualifications

  • Law Enforcement Background: Must possess an active or retired Law Enforcement Certification.
  • Specialized Investigative Experience: Proven tenure as an Investigator or Detective within a Special Victims Unit (SVU). Direct experience in ICAC (Intervention Against Crimes Against Children), Digital Forensics, or investigating Sextortion is a mandatory requirement.
  • Public Speaking Excellence: Exceptional ability to communicate complex, sensitive, or technical topics to diverse audiences in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Training & Leadership: Experience in curriculum delivery and leading interactive training sessions.
  • Operational Independence: Ability to manage travel and event execution independently while maintaining close communication with the home office.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: A college degree is preferred, though significant professional experience in the required investigative fields may be substituted.
  • Community Outreach: Prior experience working directly with school districts, parent-teacher organizations, or community advocacy groups.


Logistics & Travel

Since SafeScreen serves the entire state, speakers must be willing to travel to various locations throughout Wisconsin.

  • Fully Covered: All travel-related costs, including lodging and per diem (meals/incidental expenses), are provided by SafeScreen Inc. in addition to the daily speaker fee.

Role Description

SafeScreen Inc. is establishing an Eligibility List of highly qualified Psychology & Trauma Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for statewide speaking engagements. This role is designed for clinicians and researchers who possess deep expertise in childhood trauma and sexual crime therapy and are capable of delivering high-impact, victim-centered presentations to communities across Wisconsin.


As a Contract Speaker, you will provide critical education to parents, educators, and community leaders. SafeScreen Inc. handles all logistical arrangements—including booking travel and lodging and providing per diem—allowing you to focus exclusively on delivering expert-level content and engaging with our audiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Statewide Education: Deliver authoritative presentations and workshops throughout Wisconsin on the psychological effects of childhood trauma and exploitation.
  • Specialized Advocacy: Provide insights into sexual crime therapy and the implementation of victim-centered counseling approaches.
  • Interactive Facilitation: Lead Q&A sessions and facilitate community discussions on sensitive topics with a high degree of clinical and professional empathy.
  • Mission Integration: Work with the SafeScreen team to ensure all messaging aligns with the organization's focus on digital safety and child protection.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related clinical field is required.
  • Expertise & Experience: Extensive, multi-year professional experience in:
  • Childhood trauma and resilience-building.
  • Sexual crime therapy and the psychological dynamics of exploitation.
  • Victim-centered counseling and support frameworks.
  • Public Speaking: Proven experience as a guest speaker or trainer, with the ability to communicate complex psychological concepts to a broad audience.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel statewide for scheduled speaking engagements.


Compensation & Travel

  • Daily Rate: $500 per day of presentation.
  • Full Logistics Support: SafeScreen Inc. provides and pre-pays for all travel-related needs. 

This includes:

  • Directly booked airfare or mileage.
  • All lodging and hotel accommodations.
  • Pre-provided per diem for meals and incidentals.
  • No out-of-pocket expenses or reimbursement filings are required for travel.

SafeScreen Inc. is seeking experienced Crime Victim Advocates to join our Subject Matter Expert (SME) Eligibility List for statewide speaking engagements. This role is designed for professionals who have been on the front lines of victim services and can provide authentic, trauma-informed guidance to parents, community leaders, and local organizations.


As a Contract Speaker, you will share your expertise on the navigation of the justice system, the immediate and long-term needs of victims, and the implementation of victim-centered support strategies. SafeScreen Inc. manages all travel and logistical details, allowing you to focus on delivering high-impact education across the state of Wisconsin.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advocacy Education: Deliver presentations on the rights of victims, the impact of crime on families, and effective advocacy strategies in the digital age.
  • Trauma-Informed Training: Teach community members how to recognize signs of exploitation and how to provide immediate, supportive care to affected children and families.
  • System Navigation: Explain the complexities of the victim services landscape and the multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach to child safety.
  • Public Engagement: Lead Q&A sessions, offering practical and empathetic responses to community concerns regarding safety and recovery.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work with SafeScreen leadership to ensure presentation materials are current and responsive to the specific needs of the region being served.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in crime victim advocacy, crisis intervention, or victim services.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Proven knowledge in:
    • The victimization process and trauma recovery.
    • Victim-centered advocacy and crisis response.
    • Collaborative work with law enforcement or social services (preferred).
  • Public Speaking: Experience delivering training or presentations to groups, with the ability to communicate sensitive information with clarity and professionalism.
  • Travel Flexibility: Must be available for statewide travel.


Compensation & Travel
